I make knives that I like. I buy blanks that appeal to me, check them for quality, attach unique scales to them, shape them for a good fit in the hand and then match up a sheath to create an eye catching tool that will give years of use. I finish all my knives by hand and are checked for fit, feel and finish by my hand or my wife’s, and she is more critical than I am. If you buy a Damascus blade know that you must keep a light film of oil on it or it will rust. vegetable oil works great because if you cut food with the knife the oil is edible. And do not store a knife in a sheath for long periods of time, it encourages rust as the leather will retain moisture against the blade.
If I will not put a knife on my hip to use I will not sell it to you.
