This is a 4” Russell Green River high carbon steel blade slightly modified to have a front finger choil. This knife weighs 2.7oz, feels lighter and handles extremely well. The handle is Black Locust wood with nice grain. Front and rear pins are copper and the center pin is my “K” mosiac. This blade style is THE most used knife in my kitchen and is my wife’s preferred blade. Very thin blade so it slices right through most everything with ease. And this blade take an edge quite easily but hold it fairly well. Being high carbon steel they will stain when used on high acid foods like tomatoes just so you are aware but will not effect functionality at all.
