Tasmanian Blackwood grips for the Colt 1909 / 1917 New Service military frame revolver. These grips have a wide variety of colors in the wood, from browns and orange to reds, dark browns and black. These grips were hand cut from stock, drilled, shaped sanded and finished by hand. There is 5 coats of finish on these grips, each one inspected for the correct look and feel. They are all test fit against and actual Colt 1917 military frame. These are not made to exactly duplicate the original grips as I do not think they were the best feeling so I have made minor changes in order to enhance the ergonomics. These grips will make your New Service revolver stand out from the rest as the treasure you treat it as.
